For an off-the-grid feel, boat in to one of our outpost cabins
If you really want to get away from it all, book one of the Hideaway Lodge outposts. Our outpost cabins on Pipestone and Jackfish lakes are about 25 miles from the Main Lodge and accessible only by floatplane or boat. For genuine solitude and excellent fishing, our fully-equipped, solar powered outposts can’t be beat.

Where to find us
On one of the best drive-in fishing lakes in Ontario
Located on a secluded bay on beautiful Clearwater Lake, the Main Camp is only one hour northwest of the International Falls/Fort Francis port of entry.
Driving Directions
From The USA Border
Our Main Camp is located 45 miles north of International Falls, Minnesota. Once you enter Canada, follow #11 Highway (West) about 20 miles, turn on #71 Highway (North) until you get to #615 Highway (East, then turns North), follow the signs which will lead you to our doorstep!
From Winnipeg
On the East side of Kenora, watch for the #71 south signs (Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls signs) go South, then after Nestor Falls, watch for “Fort Frances 60 kms” sign. Once you see that you come to a village called Finland.
Turn left on Lampi road, go to the stop sign and turn left (you are now on 615). Drive about 15 minutes north, you will come to 2 hairpin turns on Off Lake. About 1/2 mile on the right, you will see Clearwater Lake Road, take it, and veer to the right (do a horseshoe). We are about 1 mile up the road.

What’s not to love about a family vacation where everybody can have a good time? For the avid anglers in the family, the fishing in July and August is second to none. And for family members who aren’t so enthused about baiting hooks, Hideaway has plenty to offer. Hiking, picnics, cliff jumping, and water sports are just a few of the activities at your fingertips. And at the end of the day, the whole family can retire to a comfortable and modern two bedroom cabin.

Bed and Breakfast Plan

If you are setting off on a fly-out trip with a local charter operator, this package is just for you. Hideaway Lodge offers convenient lodging the night before your fly-out. Come to the Lodge to enjoy the beautiful setting, fill up with a home cooked meal (or two), and spend the night in one of our modern cabins. Best of all, we’re just a five minute drive from the airbase in the morning.

When our American friends load up the car and make the trip across the border to Hideaway, they tend to show up hungry! With this package, you’ll get a cozy cabin, three home cooked meals a day, and all of the details taken care of. Sound good?

West Jackfish Outpost
BOAT-IN-LIVING
Twenty-five miles from the Main Lodge, our outpost on Jackfish Lake is located in prime walleye, northern, bass, and perch territory. The cabin is a stone’s throw from the sandy shoreline and is a perfect base for your Jackfish Lake adventures. There are two 20 ft. docks at this outpost.

Pipestone Outpost
BOAT-IN-LIVING
This two-bedroom cabin is located right on the rocky shoreline of the northwest arm of Pipestone Lake. The outpost is 28 miles from the Main Lodge by boat and sheltered in a secluded back bay. The deep waters here offer terrific laker, northern, bass, muskie, and walleye fishing. There are two 20 ft. docks at this outpost.
This cabin sleeps up to eight and has solar lights, a solar water pump, 2-piece bathroom (sink/shower), outside toilet, 2 propane refrigerators, a 4-burner stove, kitchen sitting room, and living area.

Fisherman’s Package
From $105/day and $645/week | Call for large group rates
This package is for anglers who want the basics of their fishing trip sorted out before getting to Hideaway. You won’t have to worry about accommodation, dockage, or portage details with this package, leaving you plenty of time to plan for the things that really matter- like where you’ll fish first. We know how tasty a shore lunch can be, so this package includes only one meal per day at the Lodge.
